Internal Examination Cell

            The institute has an Examination Committee for smooth conduction of Common Unit Tests, Class Tests, Subject Knowledge Tests, Seminars, Home Assignments, and Projects etc. The exams are conducted strictly under CCTV Surveillances. The results are declared immediately on the notice boards and the students are given the evaluated answer sheets to be the impartial part of evaluation process. They are free to discuss their queries with the concern teacher. The Principal also takes fortnightly review of the progress in the meeting of HoDs. This gives rise to impartial evaluation method. Thus they are full prepared to appear final examinations because of reforms in CIE. As a result, it helps them to secure good marks in the University Examinations. In fact, the earnest efforts are being made to bring reforms in Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) system at the Institutional Level.
            The objectives of the internal exam committee are as follows; it prepares time tables for the test exams, the committee suggests different measures to improve the system of evaluation. The committee forms notices of the test examination before hand and display it on the notice boards. The committee has to inform the schedule to the teachers well in advance in order to prepare question papers for the test exams. The commit ensure the evaluation of the test papers.
             Internal exam committee is formed to maintain discipline and exam related grievance in the college. It has two committees one for women and another for both, boys and girls. The regular meetings of the members are scheduled and the serious issues regarding the examinations and others are discussed. The cell also works to deal with Examination related grievances in order to bring reforms in term of efficient, time bound and transparent conduction of the examination. It invites examination related grievances from the students. The committee acts abiding by the rules, regulations and directives prescribed by the affiliating university. As far as the college internal examination and assessment system is concerned, the committee takes impartial initiatives for transparent justification on the grievances of the students. It calls meetings on examination related serious issues of the students, as and when required. The committee takes decision on the applications of the students.
            The university has provided calendar to keep watch for continuous internal evaluation. The subject teacher conduct test exam according to the blue print provide to him by the college. The continuous internal evaluation includes with help of assignments, group discussion, seminar etc. The subject teacher has records of the student progress with him. In order to have the progress in the internal evaluation, the institution organizes guest lectures and different educational programmes. On the basic of different educational activities the subject teacher assesses the student performance for the internal evaluation. The institute conveys the records of their wards to the parents. The university has prescribed the scheme of internal evaluation. In the form of listening skills, speaking skills, writing skills, interview skills, Presentation skills viva voce etc. The student’s group discussion activity includes different topics of social relevance as a part of study. The continuous internal evaluation aims at the overall development of the student.
